SUPERNOVÆ is the culmination of years of composing, listening and stargazing. Beginning as a series of mixtapes released across 2021 and 2022 simply titled "✰", dotnds's work is a seamless journey through artificially-recreated galaxies.

This is an album composed of five acts, each combining glitched audio transmissions and glittering ambient with powerful drum-and-bass "novas". The consistent flow of the release is akin to the rotation of a planet, or a series of breaths in and out before the sweeping plunderphonic outro.

SUPERNOVÆ, narratively, is preceded by dotnds's debut album "Occurrences in the Macrocosm (or the Heavens)" composed with FLYBY UNIFORM:

Any avid telepath fan knows he's made some pretty mind-altering post-contemporary, mall setting vaporwave in his discography, but I genuinely think of Antara Communications as a steep outlier to all of his albums. It doesn't even sound like it was created with any actual compound structure found on Earth, but more like was chemically concocted from light and pure ether. It might as well be some kind of strange transmission from another nebula because it's simply out of this world. (pun intended) Quota
